Salary £19,312 pro rata or £10.01 per hour

NJC Scales 3                  20-25 hours per week (negotiable)


Home-Start Hertfordshire is a local Family and Childrens’ charity with a network of trained volunteers and expert support that helps families with young children through their challenging times. We offer a unique service, recruiting and training volunteers to visit families at home to offer informal, friendly and confidential support.

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and hard-working administrator with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail to join our friendly team based in our office in Stevenage.  This is a rewarding role working with a dedicated team of people supporting families through difficult times.  We are a small team so you will need to be a good multi-tasker.

Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent office administration and interpersonal skills, be IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages particularly Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook. Experience with cloud-based CRM systems would be an advantage.

In this role you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the operations and strategic teams and the board of trustees.  Responsibilities will include general office duties, data input to CRM, producing reports, database management, photocopying, diary management, minuting meetings, mailing and reviewing correspondence.
