We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Fundraising Officer to support the Strategic Team, in a family friendly working environment.

Home-Start Hertfordshire is an innovative and enthusiastic voluntary organisation that believes every parent should have the support they need to give their children the best possible start in life.

Our main services are 1:1 home-visiting, and community-based group support, although we have additional projects focused on specific areas of need.  We have a dedicated and highly trained team of volunteer Family Mentors who work with each family for three to nine months.

As Fundraising Support Officer you will work within the strategic team to generate income to reach annual income targets, predominantly through delivery of fundraising events & campaigns.

Home-Start Hertfordshire is currently in a transitional phase, which makes this an exciting opportunity for the suitable candidate to play an supporting role in the future growth of the charity.  This is a highly rewarding role that sits within a supportive and vibrant team.

The successful candidate will be a creative team player with great communication skills. You will be highly self-motivated and must be able to use your own initiative. Employment experience planning events would be a bonus, although not essential and you must be able to work with empathy but also with a sense of humour.
