Our Trustee Board

Our board is composed of up to 12 trustees

The Trustees come from a variety of backgrounds and with different life experience to bring different perspectives to discussions and enhance the Board’s decision-making process. This ensures a good mix of skills, talents and experience to serve the Home-Start Herts community.

There are five board meetings per year, which the Senior Leadership Team members attend as required.

Our Committees

Our Board of Trustees includes people from a variety of backgrounds and skills. To ensure best business practice, we have three board-level committees.

Home-Start Herts committees:

Finance and Funding Committee

Our Finance and Funding committee focuses on the income and expenditure plans of Home-Start Herts and monitors progress against our Business Plan.

HR Committee

Our HR Committee focuses on all matters relating to our staff.

Operations, Monitoring and Evaluation Committee

Our Operations, Monitoring and Evaluation Committee focuses on the operational delivery of our service to families, the quality of our service and how we are performing.
