On 15th June 2019 Simon Galbraith founder of Redgate Software and Entrepreneur began his cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
Simon cycled 938 miles in a bid to raise £45,000 towards Stevenage Community Trust’s dedicated fund, specifically to help Home-Start Herts clear the waiting list of 21 families in Stevenage that were on their waiting list.
The ride was gruelling and blood sweat and tears were shed, but the incredible challenge raised an astonishing £54,443!
This will ensure that every one of the 21 families on the waiting list can receive the support they need.
Stevenage Community Trust President and International best-selling author Ken Follett and Simon himself, generously matched donations up to £15,000, tripling the final amount that was raised.
